AirHub Introduces Video Management System in Updated Drone Operation Center

Drones have become essential for emergency services during incidents. But how can you easily combine all video footage into one open system? AirHub responds to this need with Live Operations, an advanced drone video management system developed in collaboration with customers. This system allows for effortless integration of footage from drones, bodycams, and mobile phones, and also offers the option to remotely control drones and their payloads.

Co-developed with First Responders

“For our clients, it is crucial to quickly get a clear overview during an incident,” says Thomas Brinkman, co-founder of AirHub. “With this new Live Operations feature, we aim to combine all the functionalities that drones offer in an intuitive way.”

The new feature integrates all technical capabilities, allowing users to remotely control DJI drones, operate the camera, and then easily share the live video stream with all stakeholders involved. Additionally, users can chat with each other through a user-friendly interface, enabling optimal use of the drone and video footage by every participant.

How Does It Work?

The new Live Operations feature supports RTMP, and all DJI drones and the new DJI Dock are fully integrated. This gives coordinators a comprehensive view of the incident from all perspectives. Another essential feature of the system is the ability to coordinate access to the footage.

AirHub understands the importance of privacy and security during incidents, and therefore coordinators can precisely determine who has access to which footage. This ensures a controlled and coordinated dissemination of information while maintaining the privacy of those involved.

AI Object Detection

For users of the Drone Operator Center, it is crucial that all necessary technology is combined into one easy-to-use tool. With Live Operations, AirHub has also integrated AI object detection models, enabling automatic detection of persons and objects in the live video stream.

This capability allows for faster and more efficient scanning of large areas, such as when searching for missing persons. With this advanced feature, AirHub aims to elevate the live streaming experience of users to a new level, providing them with a powerful tool for various applications.
