EASA publishes FAQs on European drone regulations

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published a first set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) regarding the upcoming European drone regulations on its website.

The Q&A’s cover a wide range of topics, varying from flying in the Open category (definitions of ‘uninvolved persons’ and ‘assemblies of people’, operation registration and training requirements) to topics related to the Specific category.

Additional topics will be added in the future. The aim of the FAQ is to educate drone users about the upcoming European drone regulations in a less formal way.
